Mark A. Salesman

Mark A. Salesman is the Chief Operating Officer at Advisors Financial Group. He specializes in helping agents and financial advisors with identifying opportunities to enhance their clients’ life insurance and estate and business planning goals. Before pursuing a career in insurance, Mark was an independent oil and gas producer for nearly a decade. In 1993 he became an agent and sales manager for Prudential Insurance before moving to the MONY Group in 1997. Mark joined Advisors Financial Group in 2004, as a sales manager. In 2018, Mark entered a succession plan with the firm’s founder and became the sole owner of Advisors Financial Group. Mark attended Indiana State University and Lincoln Trail College and holds an A.A.S. Degree in Petroleum Technology. Mark holds a Group I Life and Health Insurance License, as well as FINRA’s Series 6,7,24,63, and 65 Securities Licenses. He is a recipient of Lincoln Financial Network’s 2008 and 2009 Presidents Award and is also a Pinnacle Premier Partner with Lincoln Financial Network. Mark is the OSJ for his Lincoln Financial Securities Branch. Mark is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), the Houston Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (HAIFA). Mark is married to his Wife, Amey Burge and together they have 5 children ages 20 to 30 and a 2-year-old Grand Daughter. In his free time, Mark enjoys golfing, saltwater fishing, hunting and Family Time.
